This SundayThis Sunday will be our last Sunday at ABB School before we move to our new location in Riverstreet next week. This week we continue our series in 1 Peter, exploring what it means to follow Jesus in a world where we don’t quite belong. This week, Peter reminds us that suffering for our faith shouldn’t come as a surprise—it’s part of the Christian life. These are challenging words. How can we rejoice in suffering? What does that even look like? When we face opposition for our faith, we can take heart, knowing that we are blessed because God’s Spirit rests on us. Instead of being ashamed, we are called to entrust ourselves to our faithful Creator and continue to do good. So, what does it truly mean to entrust ourselves to God and live with confidence, knowing He is working through our trials? Join us as we unpack this challenging but hope-filled passage. We’d love to welcome you this Sunday as we seek God’s wisdom and encouragement together. In our service, we will also be sharing Holy Communion. Refreshments will be served both before and after our gathering. Children’s groups will meet for all ages. ACCESS INTO ABB SCHOOL: This Sunday there are road closures around ABB school so in order to access the school. You will either need to travel from Bodmin road and down the hill turning right into ABB school entrance or go up Moresk road and again down the hill into the school. Mitchell Hill will be closed from Carvosa Road.
