This Sunday - Series Concludes

This Sunday we come to the final instalment of ‘Never Ashamed’, our current series. We are going to be drawing together the implications of 2 Timothy and reflecting on all we have learned. As the Apostle Paul hands on the baton to Timothy, we are given our final instructions for the the life of the church. Full of practical relevant wisdom for our church, join us this Sunday if you possibly can.

There will be Sunday Club for all children as normal. Refreshments are being served before and after our Sunday morning service as usual. Prayer after the service will be available.

EQUIP - Continues This Week

The heart of EQUIP is reflecting on a few simple truths and allowing them to deeply impact and shape our lives. In the first half term, we thought about one simple truth - What is the gospel? In this second half term, we are now thinking about a second, what a Christian is. This question takes us to the story of our lives - who we really are? Do we know ourselves?

To answer these question we are going to take a slightly different approach. Rather than look at passages from across the whole of the Bible, in this section we are going to look at the first four chapters of one book, the book of Romans. Romans is foundational for any Christian and we aim to equip one another by spending time there.

All of our EQUIP resources can be found on our website, with the link below.

If you are not currently part of an EQUIP small group and would like to join, please do get in touch so we can find the right group for you.

Wreath Making Event

To kickstart our Christmas celebrations this year we are holding an event for the whole of Trinity Church. Hosted at St Kea our wreath-making evening is designed as another opportunity to invite guests. The evening will include a wreath-making demonstration, time to create your own beautiful wreath, and a short interview with a Christian about what Christmas means to them.

Mulled wine and sweet and savoury canapes will be served, and materials to make the wreaths will be provided. Tickets are £15 and can be bought on the church website or via clicking the image above. Numbers are limited, so do book early to secure places for you and your friends!

CAP Christmas Appeal

We are now on our countdown for our Christmas Appeal. Here is a reminder how you can get involved to bless those who are struggling with poverty this year. Would you be kind enough to join us again this year by donating:

SuperMarket Voucher/Argos Voucher/Christmas Hamper

Sorry we are unable to accept cash or cheques. Please hand in to Church Office or Natalie Gavan or Liz Baird. On behalf of the CAP Team and those we reach, thank you very much.

"The Christmas hamper that I received from CAP Lanterns is massive for me. When I'm struggling to buy presents, it takes a lot of pressure off me. It's also very exciting. Thank you."

Truro Foodbank Reverse Advent Calendar

Our friends at Truro Feedback know that there is going to be increasing pressure on Foodbanks over the next few months. They have designed this Reverse Advent Calendar as a great way we might all be able to help as Christmas approaches. You could do it as an individual, a family or perhaps as a Small Group.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and family that we can join together in praying for:

1. Give thanks for the many families that attended our event on Monday. Pray for friends we know who came, as we continue in our relationships with them and seek to share the gospel in our lives. Pray also for those who came who we had not met before. Pray for ongoing contacts that would result in fruitful relationships where the Gospel can be explained. Pray for all those that came that they would be keen to attend our Christmas events happening in December.

2. Please pray for St Clements Church and for their Minister Rev Di Willoughby.

3. Please pray for Mercy Rescue in Kigali, Kenya. They are struggling with funding, please pray that they would be able to secure the money needed to continue their work with the most vulnerable in their community.

Don't forget you can find information about our church events on the ChurchSuite calendar.
