YOUTH WORK
KEA YOUTH
Our amazing young people and youth groups are really important to us at St Kea and we love the part young people play in our church family.
Life Groups - yr 12-13
Small discipleship groups for those in years 12 and 13
Monday Night Youth - yr 9-11
A weekly group during school term time from 7.30 - 8.45pm. A chance to look at the Bible together, ask big questions, form friendships, have fun, eat and pray together.
Tuesday Night Youth (TNY) - yr 6-9
A vibrant, fun and relational youth group for all year 6-9’s that meets during school term time at our St Kea All Hallows church hall every Tuesday evening 7-8.30pm. Each week we enjoy high energy, activities and games, as well as engaging in discussions about Jesus and what it means to follow him.
Sunday Youth
As part of the 10.15am St Kea All Hallows Service this is a group for Year 7-9’s. They leave the main service after about 10-15 minutes and meet together to go deeper in God’s word. We challenge each other about what is going on in our lives. We chat about what it means to be a Christian in our context and have time to pray.
Youth ‘on the road’
Every year we try to make the most of opportunities for our young people go away together. This includes SWYM Conferences such as TAG and SPREE as well as CPAS Ventures like Barnstaple 2 (11-14) and Sparkford 1 (14-18) .
Email Hugh for more information about our different youth groups and activities.
We are committed to the safety and well being of all young people at St Kea. All our leaders are safely recruited in accordance with current safeguarding guidelines and we run regular safeguarding training for all youth team leaders.
